Export Asthma Data

Asthma emergency department visits (ED visits) and hospitalizations data are available for download in comma-separated values (CSV) format. A text file explaining the data fields and values is also available.

Data include

  • Asthma ED visits and hospitalizations by age group by year, New York State: Individual counts and asthma ED visit and hospitalization rates by six age groups by year
  • Asthma ED visits and hospitalizations by age group and sex by year, New York State: Individual counts and asthma ED visit and hospitalization rates by six age groups and sex in three-year time periods.
  • Daily average ED visits and asthma hospitalizations New York State: By month by year and by month by three-year averages
  • Age-adjusted rate of asthma ED visits and hospitalization per 10,000 population by county: Calculated three year age-adjusted rates based on the 2000 US standard population within each age group.
