Asthma ED Visits and Hospitalizations

Asthma emergency department (ED) visits and hospitalization data identify a small percentage of people with asthma, those with the condition serious enough to require an emergency department visit or hospital stay. Emergency Department Visits and Hospitalization data can be used to help identify people most in need of asthma prevention and care.
