This survey will focus on your experiences in EMS, at your local organization and in the broader community. Your views on diversity, equity, and inclusion in NYS EMS are important factors in helping determine the future programs, project, and sustainability of EMS. This survey asks about your identity, including race and ethnicity, experiences of inclusion in your workplace, and questions about harassing, potentially harassing, or discriminatory behaviors you may have experienced.
All members of the NYS EMS community are encouraged to respond to the survey. It should take about 10 - 20 minutes to complete. However, it may take some people longer if they want to provide additional details and information or have experienced more of the type of interactions that the survey asks about.
Your responses are anonymous. There is no data collected that inquires about your exact location. We will not report on small groups of participants. No identifying information from text responses will be shared.
