December 2021 Ambulance Deployment Survey
This deployment's primary mission is to assist health care facilities balance patient care loads by transporting patients between facilities throughout the state of New York.

Capital Region
The Capital Region District Office covers the following EMS Regions - Adirondack-Appalachian (AAREMS), Hudson-Mohawk (REMO), and Mountain Lakes.
Central Region
The Central Region District Office covers the following EMS Regions - Central New York, Mid-State, North Country, and Susquehanna.
MARO Region
The Metro Area Regional Office covers the following EMS Regions - Hudson Valley, Nassau, New York City, Suffolk, and Westchester.
Western Region
The Western Regional Office covers the following EMS Regions - Big Lakes, Finger Lakes, Monroe-Livingston, Southern Tier, Southwestern, and Wyoming Erie.
Number of BLS Ambulances Willing To Deploy
For the purposes of this deployment, a BLS ambulance is certified and qualified at either the EMT or AEMT level of care. This BLS ambulance must only be deployed with a certified care provider at the EMT or AEMT level of care and a motor vehicle operator qualified according to the sending EMS agency's best practice guidelines.
Number of ALS Ambulances Willing To Deploy
For the purpose of this deployment, an ALS ambulance is defined as one certified and credentialed at either the AEMT-CC or AEMT-P level of care (qualified to carry narcotic medications). This ALS ambulance must only be deployed with a certified and credentialed care provider at the AEMT-CC or AEMT-P level of care and a motor vehicle operator qualified according to the sending EMS agency's best practice guidelines.
Number of Critical Care Ambulances With Ventilator Willing To Deploy
For the purposes of this deployment, a Critical Care Ambulance with Ventilator is staffed and equipped with a transport ventilator
and
at the AEMT-CC or AEMT-P level of care. This ALS ambulance must only be deployed with a certified and credentialed care provider at the AEMT-CC or AEMT-P level of care authorized by the EMS agency's medical director to practice at the AEMT-CC or AEMT-P level of care for critical care transports and a motor vehicle operator qualified according to the sending EMS agency's best practice guidelines.
