 Action Description for DOH Webpage:Censure and reprimand with probation for one year and a $5,000 fine. The physician is also subject to conditions for as long as he remains a licensee in New York State. The physician is precluded either individually, or through a professional corporation, from evaluating, treating or billing patients whose medical services are reimbursed through either No-Fault Insurance or Workers’ Compensation. The physician may not do neurological testing except in cases where it is reasonably required during the course of his OB/GYN practice. Any patient for whom neurological studies may be indicated must be referred to a physician who would judge the necessity of the studies and/or testing. The physician may only own or control no more than one professional corporation or professional practice entity at any time with the sole exception of Darlington Medical P.C. which will only operate for one year for the sole purpose of obtaining outstanding accounts receivables. Effective August 25, 2017 the physician's probation has ended but he remains subject to permanent conditions.
