| Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Administrative Review Board affirmed the Hearing Committee's May 1, 2017, determination finding the physician guilty of having committed professional misconduct by having been convicted in the County Court, County of Dutchess, State of New York of Unauthorized Practice a Crime-Medicine and Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree. The physician was also found guilty of gross negligence; negligence on more than one occasion; incompetence on more than one occasion; delegating professional responsibilities; failure to maintain medical records and failure to use barrier precautions. The Review Board overturned the Hearing Committee's penalty and revoked the physician's New York State medical license. Previously on February 24, 2016 the physician's New York State medical license was suspended by the New York State Commissioner of Health. |
