| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | This order is a modification of the terms and conditions previously imposed under BPMC Order #16-285 that went into effect on August 24, 2016 and does not constitute a new disciplinary action. The Administrative Review Board affirmed the Hearing Committee's May 5, 2016 determination finding the physician guilty of failing to comply with federal law and failing to maintain accurate patient records. The Administrative Review Board overturned the Hearing Committee's penalty banning the physician from USCIS Civil Surgeon Program and suspended the physician's New York State medical license for three months. The Administrative Review Board stayed the suspension and placed the physician on probation for three years. |
