| Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The physician admitted guilt to the charge of having been convicted in the Town of Wappinger Justice Court, County of Dutchess, New York of Driving While Intoxicated. Later on February 24, 2016 the physician's New York State medical license was summarily suspended by the New York State Commissioner of Health. Effective May 1, 2017 the Hearing Committee suspended the physician's New York State medical license until she submits to and cooperates with an evaluation that proves fitness to practice medicine. If proven and approved by the Director of the Office of Professional Medical Conduct, the physician will be placed on five years probation with conditions. Effective October 9, 2017 the Administrative Review Board affirmed the Hearing Committee's determination but overturned the Hearing Committee's penalty and revoked the physician's New York State medical license. |
