| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Review Board affirmed the Hearing Committee's May 28, 2013 determination finding the physician guilty of having been disciplined by the Maryland State Board of Physicians for unprofessional conduct and providing professional services under the influence of alcohol. The Review Board overturned the Hearing Committee’s penalty and placed the physician on probation for two years. Effective September 22, 2015 the physician was issued a limitationwhich precludes the physician from activating his registration or reapplying for a license in New York State. The physician is precluded from the practice of medicine in New York State and may not use his medical license as a basis for practicing any other profession licensed or regulated by the New York State Board of Regents, Department of Health or the Department of State. |
