| Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Hearing Committee sustained the charges finding the physician guilty of committing professional misconduct by having been disciplined by the Florida State Board of Medicine for prescribing inappropriate and excessive amounts of controlled substances to three patients; failing to monitor the use of controlled substances; failing to perform evaluations at appropriate intervals; failing to maintain adequate patient medical records and engaging in a inappropriate sexual relationship with a patient. Previously, on April 23, 2012 the physician's New York State medical license was summarily suspended by the New York State Commissioner of Health. |
