| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Hearing Committee sustained the charge finding the physician guilty of having been disciplined by the Alabama State Board of Medical Examiners for unprofessional conduct; improper prescribing of controlled substances and being unable to practice with reasonable skill and safety as a result of a mental or physical condition. Previously on April 12, 2010 the physician had agreed to not engage in the practice of medicine in New York State until the final disposition of the investigation by the Office of Professional Medical Conduct. |
