| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Review Board sustained the Hearing Committee's February 6, 2006 determination finding the physician assistant guilty of having been convicted in United States District Court, Northern District of New York, Nassau County, Mineola, New York of driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and having been convicted in New York State Supreme Court, Suffolk County of operating a motor vehicle under the influence. The Review Board overturned the Hearing Committe's penalty of suspension with probation and revoked the physician assistant's license. Previously on December 21, 2005 the New York State Commissioner of Health summarily suspended the physician assistant's registration to practice medicine in New York State. |
