| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Hearing Committee sustained the charges finding the physician guilty of gross negligence;negligence on more than one occasion;fraudulent practice;engaging in conduct which evidences moral unfitness;performing services not duly authorized by the patient and failure to maintain adequate records.The physician's New York State medical license was previously summarily suspended on November 27, 2001,however on November 28, 2001 the New York State Supreme Court granted a stay of that suspension,which is no longer in effect. On March 6, 2013 the New York State Education Department Board of Regents denied the physician's petition for the restoration of his New York State medical license. |
