| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Review Board sustained the Hearing Committee's determination finding the physician guilty of negligence on more than one occasion and also found the physician guilty of gross negligence. The Review Board overturned the Hearing Committee's penalty of probation for three years and revoked the physician's license. As of February 5, 2001 the stay of penalty previously granted on December 11, 2000 by the New York State Supreme Court , Appellate Division is no longer in effect. On December 7, 2001 the New York State Supreme Court ,Appellate Division,Third Department confirmed the Review Board's determination. On April 2, 2012 the New York State Education Department Board of Regents denied the physician's petition for the restoration of his New York State medical license. |
