| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Review Board sustained the Hearing Committee's penalty and determination effective November 17,2000 finding the physician guilty of gross negligence; gross incompetence; negligence and incompetence on more than one occasion; ordering tests and/ or treatment not warranted by the patient's condition; performing professional services which the physician has reason to believe he can not competently perform and failing to maintain accurate records.The physician's N.Y.S. medical license was previously summarily suspended on June 29, 2000,however a Court stay issued July 27,2000 stayed the summary suspension with conditions. |
