| Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | On October 29, 2013 the New York State Education Department Board of Regents denied the physician's petition for the restoration of his New York State medical license. The Hearing Committee sustained the charges finding the physician guilty of gross negligence; negligence on more than one occasion; excessive treatment; fraudulent practice; conduct which evidences moral unfitness and failure to maintain adequate records. The physician's N.Y.S. medical license was previously summarily suspended on August 9, 2000. The N.Y.S. Supreme Court Appellate Division on September 20, 2000 limited the summary suspension to only the areas of surgery and obstetrical deliveries. |
