 Action Description for DOH Webpage:License suspension for sixty months, with the first twenty-four months to be served as actual suspension and the last thirty-six months stayed. The physician will also be placed on probation for thirty-six months with a practice and billing monitor and must obtain a Clinical Competency Assessment (CCA) prior to the commencement of probation. The CCA must be performed by a program as directed by the Director (Director) of the Office of Professional Medical Conduct, completed to the satisfaction of the Director and the CCA report must be provided to the Director within sixty days prior to the commencement of probation. The physician shall identify a Preceptor, preferably a physician who is board certified in the same specialty and must be approved by the Director who can assist in a remediation plan to address any deficiencies or retraining identified in the CCA. The physician may also be subject to further conditions imposed by the Director. Previously on June 22, 2022, the physician’s New York State medical license was suspended by the New York State Commissioner of Health.
 Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage:The physician did not contest the allegations, in full satisfaction of the charges, of committing professional misconduct by having been convicted in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York State, of Conspiracy to Commit Health Care Fraud (one count), a felony.
  License Limitations or Conditions for DOH Webpage: The physician must obtain a Clinical Competency Assessment (CCA) prior to the commencement of probation and the CCA report must be made to the Director within sixty days prior to the commencement of probation. The CCA must be performed by a program as directed by the Director (Director) of the Office of Professional Medical Conduct and completed to the satisfaction of the Director.
