 Action Description for DOH Webpage:License suspension until the completion of a Clinical Competency Assessment (CCA) and implementation of any terms imposed as a result of the CCA. The physician shall complete the CCA to the satisfaction of the Director (Director) of the Office of Professional Medical Conduct and must provide a written report of the CCA to the Director within sixty days prior to the commencement of probation. Prior to the commencement of probation and following the receipt of the CCA, the physician must identify a Preceptor, preferably a physician who is board certified in the same specialty who can address any deficiencies or retraining identified in the CCA and approved by the Director. The physician will then be placed on probation for three years with conditions that include therapy with a health care professional and Continuing Medical Education and may be subject to further terms or conditions based upon all relevant facts and circumstances known to the Director.
 Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage:The physician did not contest the allegations, in full satisfaction of the charges of misconduct, by having been convicted in the Suffolk County Court, State of New York, of Reckless Assault of a Child (one count) a felony and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (one count) a misdemeanor. Previously on April 4, 2022, the physician’s New York State medical license was suspended by the New York State Commissioner of Health.
  License Limitations or Conditions for DOH Webpage: During the period of probation, the physician shall engage and continue in therapy with a treating health care professional and enroll in and successfully complete Continuing Medical Education subject to the approval of the Director.
