| Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Hearing Committee sustained the charges finding the physician guilty of committing professional misconduct by having been disciplined by the Medical Board of California for allegations of mental illness affecting competency; conviction of a crime substantially related to the qualifications, functions, or duties of a physician; use of alcohol and/or danger drugs to an extent, or in a matter, as to be dangerous or injurious to self, others or the public; acts of dishonesty and/or corruption, repeated negligent acts; inadequate and/or inaccurate records and also for having been convicted of Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, a misdemeanor, in violation of California Vehicle Code § 23152. Previously on July 6, 2021, the physician was subject to an Interim Non-Disciplinary Order of Conditions. |
