 Action Description for DOH Webpage:The New York State Commissioner of Health has rescinded the April 30, 2021 Commissioner’s Summary Suspension Order as the physician’s New York State medical license is limited, as of August 13, 2021, to preclude the clinical practice of medicine with the sole exception of such activities that are necessary for the orderly closing of the medical practice. This exception will permit the physician to see current patients for the purpose of referring those patients to another physician, with whom this physician has no financial relationship, and if appropriate to release those patient’s treatment records. This exception does not include diagnosing, treating, operating, or prescribing for any human disease, injury, or physician condition. Then, after ninety days from the effective date of this board order, the physician will be subject to a license limitation that precludes the registration or issuance of any further New York State medical license. The physician is precluded from practicing medicine in New York State and from practicing in any setting where their practice is based solely on their New York State medical license. The physician is also precluded from further reliance upon their New York State medical license to exempt them from the licensure, certification or other requirements set forth in statute or regulation for the practice of any other profession licensed, regulated, or certified by the New York State Board of Regents, New York State Department of Education, New York State Department of Health or the New York State Department of State.
 Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage:The physician did not contest the charge of committing professional misconduct by practicing the profession of medicine with negligence on more than one occasion.
