| Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The physician did not contest the charge of having committed professional misconduct by having been disciplined by the California Board of Medicine for gross negligence during his care of a patient by failing to identify a radiographical/clinical correlation inconsistency during the operation and for erroneously concluding that he had removed an acoustic neuroma, and for not communicating to the patient that he had failed to remove the tumor. The physician found to be negligent in several respects both with regard to his care of the patient and his communication with the patient. The physician was also found to have engaged in dishonest or corrupt acts and misrepresentations and that he had failed to maintain adequate and accurate records.
