| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Hearing Committee sustained the charges finding the physician guilty of committing professional misconduct by willfully abusing a patient; conduct in the practice of medicine which evidences moral unfitness; failing to use appropriate sterile environment and/or without appropriate infection control and/or without the use of sterile technique; practicing the profession of medicine fraudulently or beyond its scope; practicing the profession of medicine with gross negligence; practicing the profession of medicine with negligence on more than one occasion; practicing the profession of medicine with gross incompetence; practicing the profession of medicine with incompetence on more than one occasion; willfully failing to file a report required by law; willfully or grossly failing to comply with federal, state, or local laws rules or regulations governing the practice of medicine; performing professional services which have not been authorized by the patient and failing to maintain accurate patient medical records. |
