| | Action Description for DOH Webpage: | This action is not disciplinary in nature. The physician will complete a course of study in Medical Record Keeping. For a period of at least two years the physician will refrain from conducting, interpreting and/or billing for neuro-diagnostic testing services until or unless modified by the Director of the Office of Professional Medical Conduct. After two years, if the physician successfully completes a course of study in neuro-diagnostic testing and successfully completes a relevant clinical skills assessment program and any remediation recommended by such a program, he will be able to apply to the Director for a modification of the terms of this order permitting him to resume conducting, interpreting, and/or billing for neuro-diagnostic testing services. The physician may be subject to further conditions regarding his practice of medicine in New York State. |
