| Action Description for DOH Webpage: | The physician assistant must provide ninety days prior written notice to the Director of the Office of Professional Medical Conduct of her intension to practice medicine as a physician assistant in New York State.The physician assistant may not practice medicine in New York State until a modification order is issued by the New York State Board for Professional Medical Conduct determining that she is fit to practice medicine.During the period that she is prohibited from practicing medicine in New York State she may not rely upon her physician assistant license to exempt her from the license ,certification or other requirements set forth in statute or regulation of any other profession licensed ,regulated or certified by the New York State Board of Regents,New York State Department of Education, New York State Department of Health or the New York State Department of State.If the physician assistant petitions the New York State Board for Professional Medical Conduct for a modification order allowing her to practice medicine in New York State and if the New York State Medical Board for Professional Medical Conduct deems she is fit to practice medicine she will be subject to conditions for no less than five years. Later on December 8, 2020 the physician assistant's license was revoked. |
