| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The physician did not contest the charge of having committed professional misconduct for having been disciplined by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners for indiscriminately prescribing Subsys to several non-cancer patients for whom the drug was contraindicated and for receiving a promotion payment from the manufacturer of Subsys for prescribing the drug. Previously on June 20, 2017 the physicians New York State medical license was summarily suspended by the New York State Commissioner of Health. |
