| Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Administrative Review Board affirmed the Hearing Committee’s July 25, 2018 determination finding the physician guilty of having committed professional misconduct by having been convicted in the Oneida County Court, State of New York of Criminal Sale of Prescription Drugs. The Administrative Review Board revoked the physician’s New York State medical license thereby overturning the Hearing Committee’s penalty of suspension and limitation. Previously on April 23, 2018 the New York State Commissioner of Health had issued a Summary Suspension wherein pursuant to the New York State Public Health Law Section 230(12)(b) the physician could not practice medicine in New York State or in any other jurisdiction where his practice was predicated on holding a valid New York State medical license. |
