| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The Hearing Committee sustained the charges finding the physician assistant guilty of having committed professional misconduct by having been convicted in the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division, of Conspiracy to Commit Health Care Fraud and Wire Fraud (one count), Health Care Fraud (two counts), Conspiracy to Defraud the United States and Pay and Receive Health Care Kickbacks (one count) and Receipt of Kickbacks in Connection with a Federal Health Care Benefit Program (one count). Previously on June 23, 2020 the physician assistants license was suspended by the New York State Commissioner of Health. |
