| | Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | This order is a modification of the terms previously imposed by the Administrative Review Board on January 11, 2017 under BPMC Order #17-007 where they had affirmed the Hearing Committee's August 18, 2016 determination finding the physician guilty of having committed professional misconduct by having been disciplined by the Colorado State Medical Board for failing to personally examine a number of patients before making diagnoses and for prescribing Suboxone to patients while serving as a Medical Director of a treatment center. The Administrative Review Board overturned the Hearing Committee's penalty and suspended the physician's New York State medical license for two years stayed the suspension and placed the physician on probation for five years with conditions and limitations. |
