| Action Description for DOH Webpage: | Probation for three years which will commence when the physician resumes practicing medicine in New York State. The physician must provide ninety (90) days notice to the Director of the Office of Professional Medical Conduct before practicing medicine in New York State or in any other jurisdiction where the practice of medicine is predicated on his New York State medical license after which his practice may be subject to further conditions. Later on August 29, 2018 the physician's New York State medical license was summarily suspended by the New York State Commissioner of Health and on January 22, 2019 his New York State medical license was suspended for two years commencing upon his release from prison. This decision and penalty was affirmed by the Administrative Review Board effective October 22, 2019, and the physician's period of suspension ended January 24, 2021. On September 22, 2022, the physician's period of probation ended. |
