| Misconduct Description for DOH Webpage: | The physician did not contest the charges of committing professional misconduct by having been convicted in the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey of Health Care Fraud, Intentional Fraud by Practitioner; Conspiracy to Commit Bribery; Commercial Bribery and Breach of Duty to Act Disinterestedly. The physician was also charged with having been disciplined by the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners for failing to maintain proper patient medical records; falsely advertising his professional credentials and engaging in fraudulent billing. The physician was also charged with having provided false information on his New York State medical license Registration Renewal Application. Previously on October 2, 2018 the physician’s New York State medical license was summarily suspended by the New York State Commissioner of Health. |
